Memories Not Had
Memories Not Had is a short experimental animation. It is about painful family stories under China’s one-child policy. From 1979 to 2015, the People’s Republic of China introduced and implemented the one-child policy to control the rapidly growing population. However, the rule has also brought many unforeseen problems. This animation can help people get a sense of the impact of this policy on Chinese families. I also conducted historical background research and built a trifold brochure that opens like a poster.
